BACHERAC, a town of the Palatinate of the Rhine, situated on the western shore of that river, in $7^\{\backslash circ\}$ E. lon.

and $50^\{\backslash circ\}$ N. lat. It is remarkable for excellent wine, from thence called Bacherac.
