BONIFACIO

BONIFACIO, in geography, a port-town of Corsica, situated at its south end, in $9^\{\backslash circ\}\; 20\text{'}$ E. long. and $41^\{\backslash circ\}\; 20\text{'}$ N. lat. It is one of the best towns in the whole island, and gives name to the strait between Corsica and Sardinia.
