CHARLEROY, a strong town in the province of Namur, in the Austrian Netherlands, situated on the river Sambre, about nineteen miles west of Namur: E. long. $4^\{\backslash circ\}\; 20\text{'}$, and N. lat. $50^\{\backslash circ\}\; 30\text{'}$.
