CLERODENDRUM, in botany, a genus of the dynamia-angiosperma class. The calix is bell-shaped, and divided into five segments; the tube of the corolla is filiform; the limbus is divided into five equal parts; the stamens are very long; and the berry contains but one seed. The species are two, both natives of the Indies.
