CORYMBIUM, in botany, a genus of plants belonging to the syngenesis monogynia class. The calix consists of two leaves shaped like a prism, and containing one flower; the corolla has but one regular petal; and
the fruit contains one downy seed. There is but one species, a native of Africa.
