COURTRAY, a town of the Austrian Netherlands, situated on the river Lys, about twenty-three miles south-west of Ghent, and fourteen east of Ypres: E. long. $3^\{\backslash circ\}\; 10\text{'}$, and N. lat. $50^\{\backslash circ\}\; 48\text{'}$.
