CRAMBE, wild SEA-CABBAGE, in botany, a genus of the tetrodynamia filiquosa class. The four long filaments are forked at the points, and the antheræ are fixed upon one of them; the berry is dry, globular, and deciduous. The species are three, only one of which, viz. the maritima, or sea-colewort, is a native of Britain.
