CROW'S FEET, in a ship, small lines or ropes, sometimes eight or ten, reeved through the deadmens eyes; and scarce of any other use than to make a shew of small rigging. They are usually placed at the bottom of the back-stays of the fore-top-mast, mizen-top-mast, and gallant-top-mast.
