CRUCIANELLA, in botany, a genus of the tetrandria monogynia class. The corolla consists of one funnel-shaped petal, with a filiform tube; the calix has three leaves; and the seeds are two, situate between the
calix and corolla. The species are five, none of them natives of Britain.
