DANTZICK, the capital of regal Prussia, in the kingdom of Poland, situated on the western shore of the river Wessel, or Wisula, which a little below falls into the Baltic sea: E. long. 19°, and N. lat. 54°. It
is an excellent harbour, and has the best foreign trade within the Baltic.
