CARLOWITZ, a town of Slavonia, situated on the west side of the Danube, about thirty-five miles northwest of Belgrade: E. long. $20^\{\backslash circ\}\; 45\text{'}$, and N. lat. $45^\{\backslash circ\}\; 25\text{'}$.
