HOMBERG, a town of Germany, in the circle of the upper Rhine, and landgraviate of Hesse, situated ten miles north of Francfort: E. long. $8^\{\backslash circ\}\; 24\text{'}$, N. lat. $50^\{\backslash circ\}\; 20\text{'}$.

HOMBERG is also a town of Germany, in the palatinate of the Rhine, and dukedom of Deuxponts: E. long. $7^\{\backslash circ\}\; 6\text{'}$, and N. lat. $49^\{\backslash circ\}\; 20\text{'}$.
