IBERIS, in botany, a genus of the tetradymania filiculosa class. The corolla is irregular, the two outmost petals being largest; and the pod is emarginated, and contains many seeds. There are twelve species, only one of which, viz. the medicaulis or rock-cress, is a native of Britain.
