OXYCRATE, in pharmacy, &c. a mixture of vinegar and water, proper to affwage, cool, and refresh: they make fomentations of oxycrate, clysters of oxycrate, &c. The usual proportion is one spoonful of vinegar to five or six spoonfuls of water.
