PHYTEUMA, in botany, a genus of the pentandria monogynia class. The corolla is rotated, with linear laciniæ; the stigma is trifid; and the capsule has two or three cells. The species are six, only one of them, viz. the orbicularis, or horned rampions, a native of Britain.
