SELTZER WATER, the name of a mineral water of Germany, which arises near Neider Seltz, and is now used in England and many other countries. We call it seltz, or salizer water; and the physicians prescribe it in many cases, as feurves, spasmodic affections, and in consumptions; in the last case, mixing it with asses milk.
