TABORITES, a branch or sect of the ancient Hussites. They carried the point of reformation farther than Hufs had done, rejected purgatory, auricular confession, the unction of baptism, transubstantiation, &c. They reduced the seven sacraments of the Romanists to four, viz. baptism, the eucharist, marriage, and ordination.
