TRIGLOCHIN, in botany, a genus of the hexandria trigynia class. The calix consists of three leaves, and the corolla of three petals; and it has no stylus. There are two species, both natives of Britain, viz. the palustre, or arrow-headed grass; and the maritimum, or sea spiked grass.
