WYE, a market-town of Kent, situated twenty miles south-east of Maidstone.
WYE is also a river of Wales, which, rising on the confines of Ca. diganshire, and running south-east, divides the counties of Radnor and Bre. knock: then crossing Herefordshire it turns south, and falls into the mouth of the Severn at Chepstow.
