MYOSURUS, in botany, a genus of the pentandria polygynia class. The calix consists of five leaves connected at the base; it has five subulated, petal-shaped nectaria; and the seeds are numerous. There is but one species, viz. the minimus, or mouse-tail, a native of Britain.
