ANADIPLOSIS

ANADIPLOSIS, in rhetoric and poetry, a repetition of the last word of a line, or clause of a sentence, in the beginning of the next: Thus,

Picantes, ves hae facies maxima Gallo;
Gallo, cuius amor, &c.
Et matutini accedula vocibus instat,
Vocibus instat, & assidua facit ore querelat.
