of Euboea, (Plutarch); called Leon, and Cale Alre, (Ptolemy); memorable for the first sea-engagement between the Greeks and Xerxes.—Another promontory of Caria, (Strabo).—A third in Spain, now called Cape Martin, in Valencia: in the meridian of London, and Lat. 38. 50.
