ASHBURTON, a town in Devonshire. It sends two members to parliament, and is one of the four flannery towns. It is seated among the hills, which are remarkable for tin and copper; and has a very handsome church; as also a chapel, which is turned into a school. W. Long. 3. 10. N. Lat. 50. 30.
