ABARTICULATIO, in anatomy, a species of articulation admitting of a manifest motion; called also Diarthrosis, and Dearticulatio, to distinguish it from that sort of articulation which admits of a very obscure motion, and is called Synarthrosis. See ARTICULATIO.
