ÆGOPODIUM, SMALL WILD ANGELICA, or GOUTWORT, a genus of the digynia order, belonging to the pentandria class of plants, is very common under hedges, and about gardens; the leaves resemble those of Angelica, and it carries small white flowers. Its roots run so fast, as to render it a very troublesome weed.
