BRADY (Robert), born in Norfolk in 1643, was
master of Caius college, Cambridge, regius professor
there, and twice representative of that university in par-
liament. In 1685, he was made keeper of the records
in the tower, and was physician in ordinary to James II.
He wrote, An introduction to the Old English history;
An history of England from the time of the Romans,
to the end of the reign of Richard II.; and, A treatise
on English boroughs. He died in 1700.
