CINUS, or CYNUS, a famous civilian of Pittoia in
the 14th century. His commentary on the Code was
finished in 1313: he also wrote on some parts of the
digest. He was no less famous for his Italian poems;
and is ranked among those who first gave graces to
the Tuscan lyric poetry.
