COMMEDIANUS (Gazæus), a Christian author in the 4th century, who wrote a work in Latin verse, intitled Instructions; the moral of which is excellent, but the verse extremely heavy. M. Davies published a fine edition of it, in 1711, at the end of Minucius Felix.
