CORONARIÆ, in botany, the 10th order of plants in Linnæus's Fragments of a natural method. Under this name, instead of the more obvious one libaceæ, Linnæus collects a great number of genera, most of which furnish very beautiful garden-flowers, viz. albuca, cyanella, fritillaria, helonias, hyacinthus, hypoxis, lilium, melanthium, ornithogalum, scilla, tulipa, agave, aletris, aloë, anthericum, alphodelus, bromelia, burmannia, hemerocallis, polianthes, tillandsia, veratrum, yucca.
