COTULA, MAY-WEED; a genus of the polygamia superflua order, belonging to the syngenelia class of plants. There are six species, all of them herbaceous annuals, rising 6 or 8 inches high, and adorned with yellow flowers. There are none of them natives of this country, and most of them require artificial heat.
