HEMELAR (John), an eminent antiquary, and canon of Antwerp, in the 17th century, was born at the Hague; and wrote a work, entitled, Expositio Numismatum imperatorum Romanorum à Julio Cesare ad Heraclium; which is very scarce, though it has had several editions.
