JUDEX (Matthew), one of the principal writers of the centuries of Magdeburg, was born at Tippelswolde in Misnia, in 1528. He taught theology with great reputation; but met with many disquiet in the exercise of his ministry from party-feuds. He wrote several works, and died in 1564.
