LLOYD (Nicholas), a learned English writer in the 17th century, was born in Flintshire in England, and educated at Wadham college, Oxford. He was rector of Newington St Mary near Lambeth, in Surrey, till his death, which happened in 1680. His Dictionarium Historicum is a valuable work, to which Hoffman and Moreri are greatly indebted.
