MONCON, or MONZON, a strong town of Spain, in the kingdom of Arragon. It was taken by the French in 1642, but the Spaniards retook it the following year. It is seated at the confluence of the rivers Sofia and Cinca. E. Long. 0. 19. N. Lat. 41. 43.
