URBINO, a province of Italy, in the pope's territory, bounded by Romania and the gulph of Venice on the north and east, by the marquisate of Ancona on the south, and by Tuscany on the west, being 70 miles long, and from 20 to 50 broad.
Urbino is also the capital of this province.
