ZYGOMA, in anatomy, a bone of the head, or rather an union or assemblage of two processes or eminences of bones; the one from the os temporis, the other from the os maxillæ: these processes are hence termed the zygomatic processes, and the future that joins them together is denominated the zygomatic suture.
