BOROZAIL, or the zeal of the Ethiopians, a dis-
ease epidemic in the countries about the river Senega. It principally affects the pudenda, but is different from the lues venerea. It owes its rise to excessive venery; in the men this distemper is called asab, and in women assabatus.
