BENNET (Christopher), an eminent physician in the 16th century, was the son of John Bennet, of Raynton, in Somersetshire. He was educated at Lincoln college, Oxford; and gave the public a treatise on consumptions, intitled, Theatri Tabidorum Vestibulum, &c. also Exercitationes Diagnostice, cum Historiis demonstrativis, quibus Alimentorum et Sanguinis vitia deteguntur in perisque morbis, &c.
