CHRYSA, (anc. geog.), a town of Mysia, on the
finus Adramyttenus; extinct in Pliny's time: it had a temple of Apollo Smintheus (Homer, Strabo). The country of the fair Chryseis, who gave first rise to the quarrel between Agamemnon and Achilles.
