CONYZA, PLEBANAE; a genus of the polygamia superflua order, belonging to the syngenesia class of plants; and in the natural method ranking under the 49th order, Compositae. The pappus is simple, the calyx imbricated and roundish, the corollule of the radius trifid. There are 19 species, none of which merit any particular description.
