vered in the bottom of the corolla, the flamina standing afunder. They are very beautiful green-house plants, rising two or three feet high, each of them crowned by a large umbellate cluster of spatheaceous, monopetalous, long funnel-shaped flowers, blue, white, or striped, having a very fragrant smell. They are propagated by off-sets.
