CUNILA, in botany: A genus of the monogynia order, belonging to the monandria class of plants; and in the natural method ranking under the 42d order, Verticillata. The corolla is ringent, with its upper lip erect and plane; there are two filaments, caltated, or wanting antheræ; the seeds are four. There are three species, none of which has any remarkable property.
