CLERK of the Nihil, or Nibils, an officer of the exchequer, who makes a roll of all such sums as are nichilled by the sheriffs upon their effreats of green wax, and delivers them in to the remembrancer of the treasury, to have execution done upon them for the king. See NIBIL.
