CICLUT, or CICLUCU, a strong frontier town of Dalmatia, situated on the river Norentia, in E. Long. 17. 40. N. Lat. 45. 20. It is surrounded with walls built in the ancient manner, and was taken by the Venetians from the Turks in 1694.
