CONCORDIA (anc. geog.), a town of the Veneti, situated at the confluence of the rivers Romatinus Major and Minor, 31 miles to the west of Aquileia, (Pliny, Ptolemy, Antonine); a colony furnished Julia. Its ruins still go by the name of Concordia.—Another Concordia (Ptolemy), of Lusitania, to the north-west of Trajan's bridge, on the Tagus.—A third of the Nemetes in Belgica, on the west side of the Rhine; a Roman fortress, situated between Brocomagus and Noviomagus.
