EBUSUS (anc. geog.), the greater of the two islands called Pityusæ, in the Mediterranean, near the east coast of Spain, to the south-west of Majorca. Famous for its pastures for cattle, and for its figs. Now Ivica, 100 miles in compass, without any noxious animals but rabbits, who often destroy the corn.
