EUODIA, in botany: A genus of the monogynia order, belonging to the tetrandria class of plants. The calyx is a tetraphyllous perianthium; the corolla consists of four spathulated, sharp, and open petals; the stamens are four subulate filaments as long as the petals; the pericarpium four, roundish, bivalve, and monospermous capsules; the seeds solitary.
