ISNARDIA, in botany: A genus of the monogynia order, belonging to the tetrandria class of plants; and in the natural method ranking under the 17th order, Calycenthemæ. There is no corolla; the calyx is quadrifid; the capsule quadrilocular, and girt with the calyx.
