LOVENTINUM, or LUENTINUM, (anc. geog.) a town of the Demeta in Britain, near the mouth of the Tuerobus or Tivy. Supposed to have been afterwards
wards swallowed up by an earthquake, and to have flood where is now the lake called Lin Savatan in Brecknockshire.
