MANFREDI (Eustachio), a celebrated mathematician, born at Bologna in 1644, where he was elected mathematical professor in 1648. He was made a member of several academies, and acquired great reputation by his Ephemerides, 4 vols. 4to, as well as by other works. He died in 1739.
